Frankincense provides one of the most evocative scents in the long history of aromatics. Its fresh, fruity, pine-lemon bouquet is delicately sweet with resinous and woody undertones.  Frankincense is know to slow and deepen breathing, awaken higher consciousness, and enhance spirituality through meditation and prayer.

Frankincense is obtained from trees of the Boswellia Zacharias family. The frankincense tree produces a resin which 'leaks' out from the bark solidifying into “tears”.  It is available in various grades, which depends on the time of harvesting and what part of the tree it is taken from.  The resin is then hand-sorted for quality.  This frankincense is the easiest to burn due to it's size.
