Makko - Base Powder

Used for proper burning of powders, woods, and granulated incense. To prolong an incense burn & enhance the actual fragrance. May also be used as a binder. 

Makko means "Incense Powder".   Makko is a specific incense powder called Tabu no ki. It is the bark of a tree that grows in Southeast Asia, the Machillus Thunbergii tree.  Makko powder has water soluble adhesive properties, almost an odorless , an almost odorless and seems to disappear when mixed with other ingredients.  It gives the mixture the ability to burn smoothly and evenly.
